Robotics features for the first time in the list of the top 15 emerging jobs drawn up each year by LinkedIn in the US. As expected, digital technology and automation account for the lion’s share of the ranking. Jobs related to data management and artificial intelligence algorithms are now proliferating across almost every industry. One third of jobs experiencing growth include the term “engineer”. Expertise in matching products to clients is also in high demand according to LinkedIn, particularly in roles such as product owner (managing the product development process), customer success specialist and sales development representative.
