In France, calls for tender have been issued but no offshore wind farms have yet been commissioned. Most of the offshore turbines are in Northern Europe. A number of large companies, such as the Danish Ørsted company, have even decided to concentrate only on renewable energies from now on, with a special focus on offshore wind power.
